How to Make Planks for Horse Jumps

If you are looking at adding something different to you jump course, maybe consider building some planks. Planks are relatively simple to make, and will add something new to your jump course. And you can make solid planks, or add some stripes to match your rails, whatever you want to do, you can do it! In order to make 2 planks like I did in this video you will need: (2) 2" x 6" x 8' boards A circular saw A hand saw A marker A tape measure A sander with sand paper Primer Finishing paint If you are painting solid color planks you can do several in one weekend. If you are adding stripes, it will take a day or two longer because you need to let the paint dry between coats.
