Find out how SAORI Arts NYC (SANYC) uses this style of weaving as a healing art with people with disabilities and chronic illness. Join Brandy Godsil, a fiber artist and SANYC co-founder, to learn about the philosophy at the heart of SAORI. As she talks, Brandy will demonstrate how the philosophy is put into effect on a SAORI floor loom. Discover what makes this loom uniquely suited for people with disabilities. You’ll view the diverse and unorthodox weavings created in our online programs throughout the pandemic.
