Part 1 : Painting our 5.4m RIB with Polymarine Flexithane Hypalon Paint.

Giving life to an Old RIB. We thought we save the appearance of an 25 year old RIB using Flexithane Hypalon paint. It's been pretty well talked about online and seems a good alternative to replacing the tubes in the short term. It's not cheap at £55.00 per half litre but we thought we'd try it out. We raised all the money through fundraising and donations. This paint was paid for by the Putney Public. We spent a saturday rattling our cans and put our boats on display at Putney St. Mary's Church. Thank you to the team there who support us very kindly. Here's what we found after the first coat.
