Children make their science-fiction movie @Rotondes

During this workshop children explored the making of science fiction films. Based on the thematic of "Luxembourg - a story of science and technology in the future" - this workshop introduced children to digital film making - the focus being on green screen and chroma-keying for stop motion animation. The participants explored the basics of scriptwriting, live-action filmmaking, animation, and green screen over a period of 6 hours. At the end of the workshop, children understood how fantasy films are produced and how to use the green-screen, create stop-motion clips and combine animation with live action to create a hybrid film.
