Jadavpur University News: Student’s Body Recovered from Campus Pond, Probe Begins

A third-year female student at Kolkata's Jadavpur University died on Thursday night after being discovered unconscious near a pond on the campus, officials said. The student, identified as Anamika Mondal, was chatting with classmates earlier in the evening. Later, she was found lying unresponsive beside the waterbody near Gate No. 4, close to the union room.
