What is a Normal Eye Pressure?

Have you been told you have high eye pressure or that you're a “glaucoma suspect”? This one’s for you! One of the most common questions we get asked as optometrists is "what is a normal eye pressure? Typically, eye pressure should be between 10 and 20mmHg, however sometimes patients can have eye pressures that are lower than this or higher than this. The main concern with higher eye pressures is a risk for developing irreversible vision loss from glaucoma.
