A Productive Garden Day 🌿 | Cleaning Containers, New Trellis & Solar Lights

Today I’m spending a productive day in the garden tackling a handful of early spring projects 🌿 I started by cleaning out three containers that were still filled with holiday greenery and getting them ready for the new season. I recently stopped by the garden center and picked up a few things — including a beautiful forsythia that will be going into one of the refreshed containers. The soil was still frozen, so I wasn’t able to plant it just yet, but I shared my plans for how I’ll style it. I also added a new trellis to the garden and showed you the rose that will be arriving soon in the mail 🌹 I can’t wait to get that planted! Another project for the day was replacing some dim solar lights at the end of my driveway. Hopefully these brighter ones will finally keep cars from running over my flowerbed. To wrap things up, I pruned some of my hydrangeas and got them cleaned up for the growing season ahead. Even though the ground is still frozen in spots, it feels so good to be outside preparing for spring.
