➡️ This video footage is from 2-10-26. Video opens with F23 flying from the E upper branches as four of The Herd head down to the pond for a drink. After they leave the pond, CamOps finds F23 soaking on the W side of the pond (01:02). Soaking/bathing is part of an eagle's grooming regimen, helps control external parasites, and ensures feathers remain in peak condition. F23 alternates soaking and bathing. When done bathing, she heads to shore and flaps the water off (04:39). F23 then flies to the DSPS (drive side pond snag) to dry and preen.
