Bombay HC Fumes Over Bad Roads, Summons Municipal Commissioner & Civic Chiefs | Top News

Top News | The Bombay High Court summoned the civic heads of Mumbai and five other municipal corporations to court on Friday for failing to comply with its orders to keep roads and sidewalks free of potholes. The top court stated that no action will be done until senior officials are directly held accountable. In addition to the commissioner of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the chiefs of the Thane Municipal Corporation, Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation, Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, and Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation must appear in court.
