In the Hall Of The Mountain King Lang Biang Mountain, the roof of Da Lat In the Highlands of Da Lat, Lam Dong Province, the Mountains Lang Biang, with an altitude of 2167m represent the highest point in the city of Da Lat. With a privileged view of the city of Da Lat and the Valley, Lang Biang mountains are known as the roof of Dalat. The most striking feature of Lang Biang are statues of the eternal lovers, called Lang and Biang, couple whose history and legend gives name to the mountains Lang Biang. Legend of the Mountain Lang Biang Legend has it that the young Lang one day delved into the forest to look for firewood and food, accidentally ran into the beautiful Biang, daughter of the Chief of the rival tribe. Biang wolves stalked, but Lang had the guts and courage enough to face them, thereby saving the lives of Biang, which arose when the love between them. The laws governing both tribes were not allowed to marry and therefore took the decision to marry in secret and flee to the mountains.
