In this video I show you hot to calibrate your pH meter. Wether you got it from ebay, amazon or another pH meter seller...the principles for calibrating are the same. Choose the ph buffer powder or solution closest to the pH you will be trying to get an accurate measurement on. Then mix it up as per the pH buffer solution instructions and measure away with your pH meter. If your pH meter had ATC on it or has this as a feature it stands for 'automatic temperature correction' so the ph numbers will be automatically corrected for in relation to the solutions temperature. This is great! Once calibrated it will be good for about 30-50 uses. A quick tip, keep your pH buffer solution in a jar so you arent constantly buying calibration powder. Muse be in a sealed container because you dont want the buffer evaporating and givinig you incorrect calibration readings. You can use your ph meter for hydroponic nutrients, chilli sauces to ensure shelf stability, brewing, aquariums, drinking water or anything that is liquid and needs a pH reading!
