The Lord of the Rings campaign in AOTR blends both movie and book material. For example, it includes book-exclusive moments such as Frodo and the Hobbits meeting Tom Bombadil and the Elves before encountering Aragorn in Bree. Played in the Age of the Ring (AOTR) mod for The Battle for Middle-earth II. I first played this campaign 6 years ago, then again 4 years ago, and with each release the missions continue to evolve through bug fixes, improved icons, portraits, and even new content.
