The path to enlightenment is bittersweet. The spiritual awakening is normally painful. The moment we acknowledge that we were once unconscious, we must face our unconsciousness. Finding the Higher Self within means ego death. It means we must learn to let go of our attachments to things that we once blamed for our unhappiness. When we have a moment of SELF REALIZATION it is as if the self has noticed the self for the first time. In the moments that follow, we become aware of our own UNCONSCIOUSNESS 😮 and we can feel terrified, alone, and confused by the realization of our own unconsciousness. Awakening and enlightenment are not for the faint of heart ❤️ Awakening and enlightenment require us to become humble to what has been and to how we have been. All human beings are unaware until they are aware they've been unaware and this is not our fault. However, coming to terms with who have been, to what we may have done, and to how we may have unknowingly contributed to the chaos in our lives is not easy to do. May you become encouraged to stay on the spiritual awakening path to enlightenment in spite of the challenges that will come as you learn to RELEASE EGO ATTACHMENTS.
