Day 2: Advocacy Training

Two-Day Intensive Training on Advocacy Engagement and Policy Influencing convened disability rights leaders, advocates, and stakeholders for a high-level capacity-building session led by the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD), in collaboration with the Inclusive Friends Association (IFA), with support from SUOMI FINLAND Embassy of Finland in Abuja and CBM Global Disability Inclusion. Held under the theme, “Empowering Voices, Influencing Policy, and Strengthening Disability Inclusion through Strategic Advocacy,” the engagement is designed to equip Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) and their mentees with lived experience, with practical tools to move beyond consultation roles and assume their rightful place as influential architects of public policy.
