Should high-potency cannabis products be regulated differently in Washington state?

At Hashtag Cannabis, one segment of the business is quickly growing. High-potency products now make up around 30% of the store's sales. These products contain cannabis concentrate that's four to six times more potent than cannabis flower. More lawmakers are now paying attention. Washington Rep. Lauren Davis is on her fifth try to get legislation through Olympia to limit access to high-potency cannabis. She said we should learn from the opioid epidemic and act before we have a schizophrenia epidemic. Her bill cleared the House, but it was dramatically weakened. Davis would like to see the age to buy high-potency products raised to 25—when a person's brain is fully developed.
