When Assassin’s Creed Unity was released, it almost ruined Ubisoft because it was ridiculed with a lot of technical issues at launch. This led to the unfortunate situation of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate having pretty low sale numbers. In fact, it was one of Ubisoft's lowest selling assassin’s creed games. I believe Rogue was the only game under it. Regardless of what you think about syndicate, it definitely wasn’t a game that was worth having one of the lowest sales numbers. Because of this, Ubisoft took a year off to think about the future of the series. Fast forward 2 years, a new assassin’s creed title was born, and that was Assassin’s Creed Origins.
