I apologize once again for the few minor audio bugs or unpleasant sounds present in the audio. This seems to be common for me when I render audio and I don't know why... Anyway, I've made some changes to the SFZ version of the Sheet Music Boss soundfont I released not too long ago. The standard and "realistic" layer systems have been reworked, the release times have been adjusted, and fixes were made for keys 108-113. For the standard and "realistic" layer systems specifically, the lower velocities now have lower filter cutoffs with a slightly larger spread between cutoff values. This was done in order to simulate a wider dynamic range, but at the expense of a bit of realism because the lower velocities are so filtered. A bit of smoothness in the lower velocities has been lost, but as a whole the transitions between cutoff values should sound a bit more consistent. The "bright" layer system remains unchanged. I could probably make it a little smoother, but it's "good enough" as is in my opinion. As I said earlier, the release times have been adjusted. In the standard and "Realistic" presets, most of the keys that had 1.1 seconds of release now have only 1 second of release, which should sound a lot more realistic. The undamped keys in the standard presets now have 4 seconds of release instead of 3.5 seconds like before. And the release times for the "Long Release" presets have also been shortened. The undamped keys still have a 6 second release time, but now the majority of the damped keys have a 3 second release time instead of 3.5 seconds. Combined with reverb, the new long release times should make the piano sound more like it's playing in a big echo-y room without being too overpowering. I also fixed an issue for keys 108-113. Apparently I accidentally put "key=108" in the extension files twice - once for key 108 and another time for key 113. I don't know how I messed that up or missed it, but what's important is those keys should now play the correct sound when triggered. As always, feel free to make edits to this soundfont if you don't like how it sounds and/or if you want to improve it! Otherwise, enjoy it as is!
