Filmed at The Manchester Academy and back at the Dog office in London, this video captures one of the 31 sold out shows that Megadog staged at The Academy between 1993 and 2000. The video was shot and directed by Piers Cox for his University dissertation and combines footage of the set up and the event itself with an interview with one of Megadog’s founders Bob Dog. The Club Dog/Megadog organisation ran as an independent collective between 1985 and 2000, staging at least 300 events at venues all over the UK as well as in Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Japan and the US. More than 25 people were actively involved with the group during its long history, with a core of about 12 people at the helm for the majority of that time.
