いつもご訪問頂き有難うありがとうございます。 木土葭ラボ（KIDOYOSHI LABO）です。 木と土と葭（ヨシ）で家作りを行ったことをきっかけに、木土葭ラボというチャンネルを開設しました。 自然に寄り添った暮らしを少しずつ実践すべく、日頃のDIYや庭、レイズドベッドの様子をアップしています。 今回土地を入手し、果樹を定植したその後の様子を紹介します。 「食べられる庭」と言う言葉を知ったのがおよそ10年前。 庭で畑をすることは出来たとしても、果樹を育てるなんて、、、 そんなイメージしか持っていなかったのが、「食べられる庭」の存在を知ることで、自分自身のやりたいことが明確になった瞬間でした。 そしてもう一つ背中を押してくれたのは、「奇跡のリンゴ」で有名は木村秋則さんの自然栽培で育つリンゴでした。 果樹栽培は農薬が大量に使われているイメージだったけど、無農薬で果樹が育てれれるんだなと初めて知った瞬間でもありました。 庭で果樹が収穫出来るようになると、災害時の一時的な食糧としても使える。 更には、温暖化で地球が暑くなる中、緑の力で庭を涼しく、酸素を私たちに提供してくれる。 勿論、果樹栽培は簡単ではないし、それなりに手間暇をかけて管理してあげる必要がある。 剪定だって素人にはなかなかハードルが高い。 でも、一年一年地道に繰り返すことで、きっと上達出来ると考えています。 まだまだ収穫出来る果樹は少ないけど、今後の成長記録も更新出来ればと考えています。 もし気になることなどあれば、コメントでアドバイス頂けるととても嬉しいです。 ------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you very much for visiting our YouTube channel. Here is what has happened since we acquired the land and planted the fruit trees. About 10 years ago, I learned about the term “edible garden. I had only this image of a garden that could be used for farming, but not for growing fruit trees, But when I learned of the existence of “edible gardens,” it was a moment that made me realize exactly what I wanted to do. Another thing that pushed me forward was the naturally grown apples of Mr. Akinori Kimura, famous for his “Miracle Apples”. I had an image that a lot of pesticides are used in fruit cultivation, but this was the first time I learned that fruit trees can be grown without any pesticides. If fruit trees can be harvested in the garden, they can be used as temporary food in times of disaster. Furthermore, as the earth heats up due to global warming, the power of greenery will keep our gardens cool and provide us with oxygen. Of course, growing fruit trees is not easy and requires a certain amount of time and effort to manage. Even pruning is a difficult task for amateurs. But we believe that by steadily repeating the process year after year, we will be able to improve. We still have a few fruit trees that we can harvest, but we hope to be able to update our growth record in the future.
