This video features a firm favourite amongst enthusiasts here in Victoria - First Series X Class Locomotive restored in Victorian Railway Blue and Gold Livery X31 that went into service during 1966. Assisting X31 is T Class Locomotive and CFCLA liveried T373 and T376 from 1964. These locomotives are over 50 years old and still leading on mainline freight trains! It's also a tribute to the EMD design that in a day of more modern and higher horse powered locomotives that there is still a place for these work horses so many years later. Here is X31, T373 and T376 at Hawksburn Station in Melbourne's inner south eastern suburbs with the returning Qube logistics cement train consist from Dandenong further south.
