What Was It Like to Visit a Tavern in the 1700s???

It's the 50th anniversary of the renovation of the historic Long Room at the Fraunces Tavern Museum. In 1971 the room was renovated to be what is considered to be an authentic representation of the room George Washington would have seen when he delivered his Farewell Address in 1783. But it wasn't just Washington that partied in this room, many of the founding fathers had a drink (or a few!) at Fraunces Tavern.
