My attempt at making a tutorial after more than 5 years not making a single video, Trough I'd share the knowledge since the subject isn't really documented at the moment and it feels like eye tracking is fairly easy to add to any avatar since most avatars already have rigged bones for the eyes. Eye tracking also seems to be here to stay in social VR applications, so as far as you have the blendshapes it'll be a matter of setting everything up with whichever method is most relevant at the time (wink wink tupper plz fix). This tutorial will go over the essentials to set up a VRChat avatar for eye tracking using standard OSC Parameters. Thus far this method adds support for the Vive Pro Eye, Quest Pro and EyeTrackVR eye tracking systems in conjunction their OSC PC apps.
