The most neglected aspect of the defense against the Standing Reverse Headlock or Guillotine Choke (Level 3 technique) is using proper body body rotation while performing the combatives or counter attacks in the defense. This video demonstrates how to rotate your body properly while performing your combatives. It also explains two reasons why proper body rotation is important: 1. Generate more power in your combatives or counter attacks. 2. How it loosens up the opponent's headlock making the escape easier. This is especially important if your counter attacks are not landing cleanly or are not effective for any reason.
