Börek is a turkish / balkans dish from family of baked filled pastries made of a thin flaky dough such as phyllo or yufka. Commonly the fillings are made with meat, cheese, leafy greens or sometimes potatoes. Börek are traditionally found in the cuisines of the Balkans, the South Caucasus, Central Asia, and some Eastern and Central European countries. Complete Recipe - • Börek - Turkish / Balkan delight by The Pinch Ingredients Phyllo Dough All Purpose Flour 3 Cups Egg 1 Whole Oil 1/2 Cup Milk 1/2 Cup Salt 2 teaspoon Water as needed Knead a hard dough. Add water very carefully, too much water ruin it. Set aside till filling is made. Beef Mince Filling Beef mince 350 gm (approx) Oil 4 Tablespoon Onions 3 medium Garlic Paste 1 teaspoon Tomato Paste 2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder 1/4 teaspoon Salt 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Powder 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper Powder 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Flakes 1/4 teaspoon Spinach (Chopped) 2 cups Cheddar Cheese (Grated) 1/2 Cup Cream Cheese 4 Tablespoon Add onions to il and garlic paste and saute the onion. Then add tomato paste and beef mince. then add all dry ingredients to cook on low flame until beef in cooked. then add spinch and cover and cook for 5 to 10 min then let it cool before adding cheddar and cream cheese. Divide the dough into 5 to 6 equal balls.
