N.I.B. - Black Sabbath (Sax Cover)

This is my first attempt at a classic by Black Sabbath, the band credited with creating the whole heavy metal genre. Tony Iommi’s guitar riffs were immense and the chords sounded really dirty on the sax, too. I covered the two guitar solos, but changed them to fit the sax better – there was no way that I could keep up with some of the riffs that Tony thrashed out. Otherwise, I have abbreviated the song the lot and also I have not covered Ozzy’s vocals except for the (one) middle eight break, as they followed the guitar line at other times and would have only got lost in the mix - I couldn’t even attempt to replicate the way Ozzy’s voice just cuts through everything else! #blacksabbath #ozzyosbourne
