The Courage to Change

I originally wrote this short one morning after being inspired from some recent reading. I'd been working my way through the book of Job as well as "The Courage to be Disliked" by Fumitake Koga and Ichiro Kishim, and found myself inspired to write my next work in the form of a dialogue. These two little figures represent the two sides of my brain that often find themselves going toe to toe. I like to explore all angles of an issue before I approach it, which can be advantageous, but it must be done in moderation. I'd come to realize that often I was afraid of committing to my own choices, and that I was using this deep thinking as an excuse to procrastinate taking action. I was cowardly backing away from change; even change that I knew would be good for me.
