Day 2 of our wonderful, once in a lifetime northern Canada adventure, our Arctic Ocean Cultural Experience package! Here we are landing into the picturesque and historic Nunavut community of Kugluktuk, population 1,500. Join is for a wonderful 5 day or 7 day Inuit and Arctic experience! To boat out on the Arctic Ocean, to see the Arctic ice pack, is truly amazing! In addition to all that, on our second day of being in the community, we will boat or ATV down the famous Coppermine River and hike to the tragic historic site of the 1771 massacre site between Samuel Hearnes' Dene guides and the local Inuit peoples who were camping at the rapids about 20kms upriver from the community.
