@taylorguitars @taylorguitarsjapan3711 Aloha Taylor Guitars, My name is Lex White and I’m the Director of Development here at KKCR, Kaua’i Community Radio. I am a musician in the bluegrass, country, and folk music genres here on the island of Kaua’i in the great state of Hawai’i. Here in Hawai’i, Taylor guitars are a big part of the local music culture. When I go down to the local music stores, Taylor guitars are what I find. Slack key pickers and pickers of all kinds around the islands prefer Taylor guitars for their superior tone and playability, and their superior resilience to unpredictable island weather that can be harsh on many musical instruments. We are a non-profit community radio station here at KKCR. We have a mission to preserve and perpetuate the tradition and culture of Hawaiian music in particular, as well as a more general appreciation for other American folk traditions like Blues, Jazz, Reggae, Bluegrass, and Old-time music, among others. We also broadcast programming that supports free speech and provides a platform for underrepresented voices in our communities and across these great United States of America. We would like to invite you to form a relationship with us both as businesses and as individual lovers of music and artistic endeavor. We have opportunities for underwriting our various shows, or for sponsoring events, visiting and local musical artists, and more. We would be happy to help you cultivate your brand image as a staple luthier of the Hawaiian music scene, and we invite you to meet with us and put together a collaborative plan that can benefit your guitar business, our community radio station, the wonderful garden isle of Kaua’i, and the great state of Hawai’i and its many peoples. Mahalo and Aloha!
