If you have asked yourself, what does accountability look like in a world without the carceral system? One answer is restorative and transformative justice practices. We will learn the basic tenets of restorative justice and dialogue about the ways we already affirm many of these practices in progressive spaces. Aisha Hauser (she, her) is one-half of the lead ministry team of the CLF and an accomplished religious educator, facilitator, author, curriculum developer, and anti-racism advocate. While Aisha started her professional career in the field of social work after earning a MSW from Hunter College in NYC, she quickly became involved in the religious education program in the first Unitarian Universalist congregation she attended and, there, found her love of religious education. Her experience includes serving three UU congregations on both the east and west coast and working for the Unitarian Universalist Association serving as Children and Families Program Director as part of the team that developed the Tapestry of Faith comprehensive curriculum. Aisha is a trainer for the Our Whole Lives comprehensive sexuality education program for all age levels.
