Train Almost Street Running, Abandoned RR tracks Being Removed, Blue Heron Flees Train On Trestle

Nearly Street Running Train, Train Knocks Down The Signal ( Old B&O Signals ), Blue Heron Escapes CSX Train On Railroad Bridge, Train Cuts Through Air Pollution From Wild Fires & Abandoned Railroad Track Removal With Dwarf Signal Still Working. These trains are in Piqua, Troy & Tipp City, Ohio on the CSX Toledo Sub. Check out the big train with the mid train DPU locomotive flying past the old train depot in Tipp City. First we see a big CSX auto racks train go right through the city of Troy, Ohio. This track is next to the road with a sidewalk on both sides of it and homes next to it. This is almost a street running track so check out the Google Maps that I included in the video that show how it runs next to the road. Notice the squirrel that came running from the railroad track as the train approached. It was going to run where I was standing until it saw me. Next we see a train in Piqua, Ohio. Piqua is just a few miles north of Troy. I thought the railroad crossing was pretty cool there so I went there and filmed a northbound train coming through the hazy air pollution that Canada gave us. The haze is from the forest fires in Canada that are smoking up the entire north eastern part of the USA. When the train first came I could barely see it. I saw a light and wasn't sure that it was a train until it was almost at the crossing. The track is flat and straight so I should have seen it a couple of miles away. Then we go to Troy, Ohio to take a close look at the old B&O color position lights that are still in use. I was able to film a train knocking down the signal. By now I hope that most people know that this is railroad jargon for the signal changing from green down to red. I almost forgot about the train running southbound across the bridge over The Great Miami River. A blue heron was sitting on the bridge and flew off just as the train approached. That was awesome! Next I go to Tipp City, Ohio to the home of the Tippecanoe Red Devils. Their first home game is September 1 against the Greenville Green Wave. Tipp City also has a few old B&O signals that are still in use. The long passing track here is being removed. Notice that the rails are mostly gone but the dwarf signal for the track is still in operation. The switch is still in place with the motor and rails but is now only good as a derailer. Lol. I got a huge intermodal train here with a mid train DPU locomotive. The train was booking through town on its way to Queensgate Yard in Cincinnati. Check out the old train station. Best frequencies here are 160.230 and 452.9375. There are a couple of other ones but you really don't need those.
