Your welded-on stud does not stick to the surface of the workpiece? In this video we will show you the most common mistakes and how to do it correctly using our stud welding unit Pegasar 500 accu and our stud welding gun C 06-3. The detailed error descriptions can be found in our HBS WIKI: https://hbs-info.com/wiki/why-does-my... The strength of a welded stud always depends on whether the energy required to join the stud to the workpiece surface was available at the welding joint. Make sure the plug of the gun is firmly inserted in the unit's socket and that the correct welding parameters are set on the unit. Now check the workpiece surface and your equipment: Has the welding cable been completely unrolled? Is the workpiece "clean"? Are the ground clamps symmetrically attached to the workpiece? Has the chuck been correctly adjusted to the stud length? Has the chuck been inserted into the piston completely? Is the retaining nut firmly tightened? Is the stud firmly seated in the chuck? Is the chuck worn? Is the piston of the welding gun smooth-running? / Are the bellows damaged? For drawn arc due to the long welding times, especially when welding with shielding gas / automation area: Is the chuck contaminated? Learn more: https://hbs-info.com/wiki
