There was always going to be a Linkin Park song on this channel, and over time there will be many. One of the first bands I listened to as a teenager that made me want to seriously consider a career in music. Hybrid Theory, Meteora and Minutes to Midnight were all on my listening list at one time. Seeing them live in 2010 was a wonderful experience that reiterated to me how good of a band they really are. And like many artists I plan to cover, it was hard to pick the first song. But I went back to one that I played as a 13 year old in my first band. But I can't play a Linkin Park tune without acknowledging two important things: Firstly, congratulations to Emily Armstrong on becoming the new vocalist. She's doing a great job and a well deserved gig for her. A wonderful vocalist! Second, rest in peace and thank you for the music to Chester Bennington. We all love you and miss you.
