ADL Enviro200 Darts have entered service on route H20. These have replaced single door Enviro200 MMCs from 2016. The E200 MMCs are expected to transfer to Battersea (QB) garage. They will be used on route G1 until its new Enviro100 EVs arrive. The Enviro200s on route H20 were previously used on the H28. They have transferred from Armstrong Way (GW) garage, To Twickenham (TF) garage. These are some of the first dual door buses to be used on the H20. Route H20 runs from Hounslow Central, Lampton Park to Ivybridge Tesco. The route serves Civic Street, Hounslow Central Station, Bell Corner, The Bell, Bell Road, Pownall Gardens, Heath Road, Lyncroft Gardens, Norbury Avenue, Reapers Way, Eaton Road, Heath Road, Clayton Road, Ruskin Road, Clock Tower Industrial Estate, Isleworth Library, Brantwood Avenue, Lynton Close, Briar Close, Thirlmere House, Kirkstone Lodge, Easedale House and Twickenham Tesco. The H20 runs daily, every 12 to 20 minutes. The route runs from 05:30 until 00:30. It is 4 miles (6 km) long. A full journey on the route takes 20 to 30 minutes. Route H20 started running in March 1989. The route was initially operated by Westlink using CVE Omnis. In January 1995, a double run was introduced. The H20 was retained by London United using MCW Metroriders in March 1999. Tellings Golden Miller won the H20 in November 1999. The route ran from Byfleet (TG) garage. At the same time, Plaxton Pointer 2s were introduced. The route now terminated at Ivybridge Tesco. In April 2000, the H20's allocation was transferred to Twickenham (TF) garage. A Sunday service was introduced for the first time in November 2004. In 2005, Tellings Golden Miller was sold to Travel London. Travel London was sold to Abellio in May 2009. The H20 was then retained by Abellio in 2011 and 2016. New Enviro200 MMCs replaced the Plaxton Pointer 2s in November 2016. The H20 was then retained by Abellio in November 2023. Abellio rebranded to Transport UK in March 2024. In April 2024, Switch Metrocity EVs were introduced. These allowed the Enviro200 MMCs to be transferred to Beddington (BC) garage. They are now being used on route S3. The H20 reverted back to a full diesel operation in June 2024.
