22.12.24: Added an Other Dryers Here section. Here we have the fairly rare older variant of the AK2800. This particular unit is sounding a tad on the rough side, obviously due to age. I do prefer these older AK2800s to modern ones with sensor LEDs, since these have more character, are much rarer and are generally more interesting in my opinion. I found one of these from May 2013 in pretty good condition back in May this year, however it was far too risky to film. The startup on it sounded scarily like a modern XLERATOR startup, so it’s interesting how these seem to deteriorate from buzzing to clicking! Thinking about it, I should’ve at least tried to get a Short of it. As you can see, the sink in this toilet is coming away from the wall, which is rather dodgy. Regarding the main building’s toilets, the A48 still lives on in the N baby room, however I felt it was a tad too risky to film, since cleaning staff were currently on duty in the toilets. I couldn’t be bothered to retake the modern ATC branded AK2800 in the accessible toilet. The decibel readings are not scientific or 100% accurate, they're simply to give you an idea of how loud the dryer is whilst using it.
