Great product - EcoPure EPINL30 5 Year in-Line Refrigerator Filter-Universal Includes Both 1/4" Compression Amazon Product Link: Link: http://amazon.com/dp/B01FG2VIRA/?tag=hanam... Long lasting 5 year refrigerator filter that fits most brands including: Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, Kenmore, Frigidaire, GE and more Easy to install - comes with both 1/4 compression and push-to-connect fittings for plastic or copper water lines Robust design eliminates sediment and chlorine taste and odor Designed, engineered and assembled in the USA. Questions Call the EcoPure helpline Includes: 5-year filter, 1/4 compression and push-to-connect fittings and installation guide Top reviews from the United States Crystal Clear Please note that there is Quik connect fittings built into the Eco Pure filter, and comes with male 1/4 inch compression fittings already pushed into the Quik connections on the filter both ends. See the picture I uploaded, just need to press down on the blue washer on the filter and pull the 1/4 inch male fitting out. I also installed a GAC filter ( Granular Activated Carbon) immediately after the ECO PURE. Since the GAC filter was Quik connect on both ends I pulled the Fitting out of the OUT side of the ECO PURE filter and inserted it into the OUT side of the GAC filter. This allows to connect the two filters together with a short piece of 1/4 Polyethylene tubing using the Quik Connections. Now there will be no need to replace the 50$ LG filter that's inside the fridge. I will have to get a bypass plug so the OEM filter can be left out. As of now it's still in the fridge and my water no longer has any white particles after only flushing 1 glass of water through the filters. I did flush 5 gallons of water through the two filter system before making the connection to the fridge. I bought 2 braided 1/4 inch compression hoses and one has a built in check valve that will stop flow to the system directly attached to the main valve behind the fridge. Be sure to check all of the threaded connections hand right plus 1/4 turn, don't excessively righted or they could leak and only work for a short time. See pictures I uploaded, hope this helps.
