Catherine “Cat” Fontaine Director of Credit, South Ferguson Today, I’m honored to recognize Catherine “Cat” Fontaine as part of our 2026 Women in Construction Week. Cat is the Director of Credit for the South at Ferguson for the last 5 years and has been in the industry for oer 20years! The main reason for the nomination is Cat’s commitment to the community. She has led multiple charity campaigns for the Ferguson credit department, including Foster Love and Agua4All. Over a two-year campaign for Foster Love, Cat led the charge to raise over $300,000 for skilled trade scholarships intended for kids transitioning out of foster care. Each scholarship is $10,000, so it changed the lives of 30 young adults transitioning into the workforce. Lots of details behind this, but not sure how much you’re looking for the in nomination. She’s also launched a new campaign for Aqua4All that helps builds community partner[1]ships to install safe water taps in schools and neighborhoods currently in FL, MA, CA, IL and PA. With Cat’s leadership, they know this is going to be a success. And then there’s her day-to-day leadership, which really focuses on people development. She’s in the process of rebuilding several credit teams within her region, and that requires a lot of travel and a lot of time coaching associates. The credit dynamic in her region has never been better. Sales leadership is nothing but complimentary about her leadership and the changes she’s made. She’s an excellent leader that is committed to giving back.
