Suns of Arqa creator and mentor Michael Wadada has been continuously investigating the supernatural potential hidden in the Classical Raga structure of the music of India. His mission – to mix the cerebral and illusive cosmological vibrations of Raga, with the mother earth rhythms of Niyabinghi drumming that were surfacing in England in the guise of Dub Reggae. For me, Michael Wadada is one of the pioneers of what is now known and called as psychedelic Dub today. Among others, YOUTH (Martin Glover) who´s the founder of Dragonfly & Liquid Sound Design has been significantly influenced by Michael Wadada and the main theme here is on the album „Dub Trees - Nature Never Did Betray The Heart That Loved Her“ fine remastered perfectly interwoven.
