Join me as I document an epic hike from my doorstep all the way to the summit of Mount Kinangop (3,906m) via the scenic and challenging Matarakwa Route in the Aberdare Ranges, Kenya. This hike was intense, beautiful, muddy, misty, and absolutely rewarding. I started early in the morning from home and made my way through farmland, thick bamboo forests, and finally into the vast moorland that leads to the second-highest peak in the Aberdares. 🥾🌿 Expect lots of raw moments, stunning views, real trail talk, and a full look into what it takes to summit Kinangop on foot.
