Made a decaying head prop to use as a "Head On A Stick" in our Halloween display. My build has two large holes through the skull for attaching it to a stick or stake. If you are not doing the same you probably don't want those holes in yours. The skull I used came from Walgreen's. I ordered the eyes and teeth on Ebay, and got the latex from Michael's. Everything else can be found at any hardware or big box store. I used hot glue to attach the teeth, but a little reinforcing with super glue may be desired if the prop will be used for an animatronic. This type of corpsing is a lot more labor intensive than heat-gun corpsing, but comes out quite a bit more realistic looking.
