Game Boy Advance Indigo Console with a Drop In IPS LCD Mod - Inside Look

I wanted to do and inside look of one of the things I bought at J&L Game in Manhattan, New York, NY and that is a Game Boy Advance (original, NOT SP) indigo console (OEM shell, buttons, and silicone pads) modified with a drop in backlit IPS LCD made by Cloud Game Store. An inside look is where I took the Game Boy Advance apart and I wanted to let the public see what the inside of this console looks like. I saw the green PCB and it mentions “GTH_V5.1” on the top right of the PCB converter board for the IPS LCD mod. While Cloud Game Store’s drop in IPS LCD v5.1 came out on April 1st, 2021, the latest version of the PCB for this LCD kit is v5.4 and it came out on May 1st, 2021. The Cloud Game Store drop in IPS LCD v5.4 PCB is made for all GBA and GBA SP models. However, a ribbon cable made for the GBA SP using the PCB and LCD must be used when using the LCD kit in a GBA SP. Originally, I was going to replace the LCD with FunnyPlaying’s IPS LCD as it gets brighter, but because I want to keep the GBA looking original regardless of the backlit LCD, I decided to continue using the LCD made for this mod and when I have time, I’m actually going to replace the PCB and ribbon with the latest version from PCB v5.4 onwards whenever Cloud Game Store makes new versions of the IPS LCD PCB boards to have the mods up to date. The LCD and glass lens on the other hand will remain the same as the LCD is stuck to the front shell permanently and it is the adhesive made for this mod. I’m still not happy about the touch sensor made for brightness control trigging automatically even after I reassembled it and it happened before I even disassembled it.
