I went snorkeling in Lake Champlain in November to see a spawning aggregation of Lake Trout. The water was chilly but there were many Lake Trout near rip rap along the shoreline. I also saw many other species including American Eel and Yellow Perch. I cleaned up some fishing lures that were broke off by anglers in the rocks and was happy to clean up the lake one lure at a time.
