MTGA Mono White Momo Is INSANE! 🕊️ 7–1 Record | Unedited Games

Today in MTGA Unedited Games, I’m playing Mono White Momo — also known as Mono White Shepherd. I originally saw this deck played by Christian Valenti at the Magic Spotlight: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles event. I had noticed versions of the list floating around before, but seeing it there really made me stop and think… “Hmm… that looks fun.” And wow — it really is. This deck plays like a toolbox strategy, where Starfield Shepherd can search up many of the pieces you need depending on the situation. That flexibility gives the deck a ton of different lines of play, which makes it both powerful and a little tricky to learn at first. One of the coolest interactions in the deck is the ability to double spell with Cosmogrand Zenith and Sage of the Skies. But there’s an important sequencing detail: • Cosmogrand Zenith needs to be on the battlefield before you cast the second spell. • Sage of the Skies needs to be the second spell you play. You’ll actually see in the video that I mess this up once — lesson learned 😅 Because this deck has so many lines and options, it definitely took me a few games to get comfortable with the play patterns. Once things started clicking though, the deck felt really powerful. One moment I’m especially proud of: I managed to max out Figure of Fable and close out a game with it — which was awesome to pull off. For future Best-of-One matches, I’m considering a small tweak: • Cutting Voice of Victory • Adding 2 Sheltered by Ghost We’ll see how that works out in later games — I’ll keep you posted. Overall the deck performed incredibly well, finishing with a 7–1 record.
