Rohini Dog Centre Protest: Activists Allege Killing, Dog Meat Trade | India Today News

A massive overnight protest took place outside a dog sterilization center in Rohini's Sector 27, with demonstrators alleging that dogs were being killed inside the facility. Protesters claimed illegal practices were occurring and that the animals were kept in poor conditions, leading them to demand their immediate release. One protester made the serious allegation that, “it is now clear that the Delhi government was preparing for dog meat.” Following the agitation, which continued until the early morning hours, Delhi Police allowed two volunteers and a lawyer to inspect the premises. The protesters were not satisfied with the conditions they observed. It was reported that the dogs brought to the center for sterilization are now being released.
