Gulmarg is known for skiing, lush greenery, Gondola ride which has 2 Phases, Kongdori & Apharwat. This Video was shot on 25th June 2023, Below are the activities we did on this day. We started our day with Gondola Ride at Gulmarg, we had book our Gondola tickets for Phase 1 & Phase 2 around 20 days in advance. It is believed Gulmarg visit is incomplete without Gondola ride. Phase - 1 Gulmarg to Kongdori - Ticket price - Rs 760 per person Phase - 2 Kongdori to Apharwat - Ticket Price -Rs 960 per person There are different time slots in which you need to book the tickets, the ride starts at 9:00 am till 1:30 pm.After reaching Phase - 2 Apharwat we went to see the Frozen lake. Food is expensive due to unavailability, it is advisable to carry along with you. Weather is unpredictable at phase 2 so carry sufficient winter clothes. Maharaja Palace - This used to be the palace of Maharaja Hari Singh during summer in the 19th century, It is open for Tourists. Maharani Temple - This temple dedicated to lord Shiva built by Maharaja Hari Singh for her wife. This temple is built on a hilltop which is visible from a distance. Scenic view from this temple is so mesmerizing. Mahatta Homestay - Then we proceeded towards Srinagar paid around Rs 5000 double occupancy for stay, for dinner Rs 500 per person. I did this booking through make my trip - i guess i paid 10,250 for 2 rooms without dinner but breakfast was included in the package. After booking i requested them over the call, if they can cook kashmir food in dinner, that's how they made the food keeping the request in mind.
