Welcome to my channel! Today, I'm excited to share a rich and moist Chocolate Loaf Cake that’s packed with deep chocolate flavor and topped with a smooth, silky ganache. This easy-to-make cake is perfect for any occasion, whether you're craving a cozy dessert or preparing a delightful treat for guests. Let’s get started! Ingredients (Chocolate Loaf Cake) 113 g (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, softened 150 g (3/4 cup) granulated sugar 3 eggs 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 150 g (about 1 1/4 cups) all-purpose flour 35 g (1/3 cup) cocoa powder 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 120 ml (1/2 cup) milk, added in two steps 80 g (1/2 cup) dark chocolate chips Ingredients (Chocolate Ganache) 25 ml milk (1.5 tbsp) 15 g butter (1 tbsp) 35 g (1/4 cup) chopped dark chocolate Cake Pan Size 22 x 13 x 7 cm (9 x 5 inches) Baking Time 50-60 minutes at 350°F (180°C) in a preheated oven Prepare the Batter 1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk butter and sugar for 2-3 minutes until the mixture becomes light and creamy. 2. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract. 3. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. 4. Gradually add half of the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix slightly. 5. Pour in half of the milk, mix gently, then add the remaining flour mixture. 6. Add the remaining milk and mix on low speed for about 15-20 seconds until just combined. 7. Fold in dark chocolate chips to enhance the richness of the cake. Bake the Cake 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). 2. Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan (22 x 13 x 7 cm) or line it with parchment paper. 3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. 4. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. 5. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Prepare the Chocolate Ganache 1. In a small bowl, heat milk and butter in the microwave for 30 seconds, until the butter melts. 2. Add chopped dark chocolate and stir until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth. 3. Let the ganache cool slightly before pouring it over the cake. Glaze and Serve Once the cake is completely cooled, drizzle the rich chocolate ganache over the top. Let it set for a few minutes before slicing.
