As the controversy deepens, the Houthis have denied losing senior figures, accusing Israel of targeting Yemeni civilians for supporting Gaza. Mahdi al-Mashat, head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, mocked both Israel and the Trump administration, calling the U.S. government “mad” and reaffirming support for Palestinians.
