Incredible Hawk Fast Jets at RAF Valley (Close up with Hawks and Pilots)

This was from a recent trip to RAF Valley in absolutely glorious sunshine on the 7th of March. This is not the best video we have ever done with Hawks, but it was sure lovely seeing them properly again from R13 The BAE Systems Hawk is a long standing resident at RAF Valley, Anglesey, and while it's only a trainer (progression from the Texan - see our other videos), it's an incredible jet non-the-less. It has a maximum speed of 638mph/1,028kph, and a range of 2,520km with a crew of 2, max. It is powered by 1 x Rolls Royce/Turbomeca Adour Mk 151 turbofan. It is possible for it to carry armament. We personally love these things. We lived close to one of the RAF runways on Ynys Môn for nearly 11 years and we never tired of hearing them! They are beautiful, and are part of the fabric of living on the Isle of Anglesey.
