Tone and tuning Beautiful rich and full tone - clean and crisp without any harshness and an added warmth sometimes lacking in Yamahas. Excellent dynamic range. It has just been tuned to concert pitch (A=440). This piano includes the middle 'celeste' pedal for very quiet practising where necessary. Video demo available on request. Keyboard and action Keyboard is in great condition and the action has just been regulated so plays smoothly across the whole keyboard with a medium weight. Very expressive with fast repetition, and lovely to play on. Hammers and strings Very little wear in the hammers and strings are in excellent condition too - see photos. Case The dark mahogany case is quite rare for a Yamaha U1 with the vast majority of them being shiny black pianos, so this is a really good opportunity for someone wanting a U1 in a different finish. The dark mahogany grain looks stunning and catches the light wonderfully - this is a classy looking piano and in very good condition throughout (just a few tiny marks that are hardly visible).
