Jung Put generally, when Jung talks about the dark side of God he’s talking about the destructive side of God. That is to say, whenever we are experiencing something destructive in our lives…our personal lives, families, culturally…something that God either causes or allows or at least is unable to prevent…that’s the dark side of God as Jung uses the term. Richard J. Sweeney, Ph.D. is a valued and greatly anticipated lecturer. A Jungian psychoanalyst and licensed professional clinical counselor in private practice in Columbus [now in Maine], he holds a doctoral degree in psychology and religion from the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley and a diploma in analytical psychology from the C.G.
