Create a Layered Tracing Paper Line Drawing- Art Demonstration Do you want to improve your drawing skills? Are you inspired by Michael Craig Martin? Do you want to create a piece of work which can be developed further? This is a demonstration as part of a scheme of work based on drawing skills. The theme of this project is tools. This is lesson one. I will be using this with my year 8 students. Inspired by the artist Michael Craig Martin, I wanted to create a layered line drawing of a selection of tools. I show you how to create this using tracing paper to build the composition. In the second part of the video I explore experimental line drawing techniques including continuous line, quick drawing, opposite hand drawing, blind drawing and drawing from memory.
